Girls' Camp

Some ladies from Northwoods did a girls' camp this summer.

Margie Schrock learning how to whistle with an acorn top.

S'mores. We put peanut butter, chocolate chips, and marshmallows in a tortilla and heated them in tinfoil over the fire.

Cameras. :)

Christine Peachy

Someone was playing with Ruthie Sue Mast's hair.

Pulling people around an obstacle course while blindfolded. The person on the wagon was to give you directions as to where to go. This was, by the way, a relay race so we wanted to do it as fast as we could yet to.

"Skiing"

Somebody's suncatcher hanging on a window.

"Lets fit as many people on it as we can!" It didn't work to well.

The snack table in the younger girls' cabin.

I don't know why they had a Minnesota canoe. We were in WI.

The schedule.

You can kind of see the buildings on this picture.

Crossing the "swamp." If you touched the ground you had to start over.

Rather small garden.

You can't really see what is going on here. This was a painting of Norman Rockwell quality. The guys are just finished with an unsuccessful fishing trip and while they are dumping the too small fish a big 'ol bugger comes along.

This slab of wood was thick. It was used as a bar.

I didn't count all the deer that they had hanging around.

The clouds reflecting on the lake.

We got to go for a pontoon ride. It was a brand new one too.

The sunset was pretty.

Playing around with Picasa.

I liked the smoke just hanging and its reflection on the lake.

It was still.

It didn't look that way behind the pontoon.

This is the sunrise. Not everybody got up to see it.

These clouds were rather interesting.

A family of 11 geese. You can only see 10 in this picture.

A paddle. It came from L&M. Most everything does nowadays.
(For those of you who aren't from around here L&M is like Farm & Fleet. Only we have one in Hayward)

Swamp Milkweed. Thanks Abbey.

More reflections on the water.

The cabin that you can kind of see in this picture looked really nice.

I thought that the reflection of the paddle was sorta neat.

Somebody on the peddle boat.

Louisa with a cup of coffee.

Coals. Duh.

Lanita cracking eggs for breakfast.

A flame.

Notice that Lou has two cups of coffee. One of them was Lanita's.

Sharon Schrock.

Eggs. You can count 'em if you like.                      Hamburgers I think.

Another table full of stuff. I should have taken a picture of all the baggage lined up ready to take home. LOL.

A windchime.

Swimming. It was too cold to go swimming, believe me.

Guess what we made with plastic spoons?!

Roses!!!!

Sorry 'bout the spot on the camera lense. If I'da known it was there I woulda took it off.

Beth Hershey. She came and talked about how young ladies are like rosebuds and how we can keep ourselves beautiful (inside).

Sparklers.

A family of half tame ducks.

Have you ever heard the poem about the Duck's Ditty?

We decorated t-shirts. With bleach.

The girls who were in the "older girls" cabin.
Ruthie Sue Mast, Sheryl Hershey, Felicia Miller, Katrina Mullet, Anna Troyer, Mary Jo Schrock, and me.
