We left Granddad's around 4:00am for Plain City, OH. Dad had a Good Life Ministries board meeting to attend there. We got to Kay and Shannon's around 11:30am. Kay had a wonderful lunch of taco soup and salad waiting for us. From there Dad went to the meetings and the rest of us went back the lane to the cabin. It is more like a small house in our standards... It is equipped all the way to a washer and dryer! That was really nice. Shannon's told us that during the summer there are many beautiful flowers blooming in well kept flowerbeds. There were only daffodils blooming while we were there though. And it was kinda cold and rainy the whole time. They had just had LOTS of rain so the rivers were HIGH and everything was really wet and muddy. Otherwise there might be pictures of the woods trails. That would have been nice but they had big huge puddles on them.
This is the cabin we rented for Fri. night while we were in Plain City,OH.
Weeping spruce?
Candle holders on the mantle.
Some quilted decor on the walls. They had beautiful quilts on all of the beds. All six of them. All of them are double if I remember right.
I was bored. So I took pictures of silk flowers.
Daffodils (not silk :)
The first three are miniature.
Kay and Shannon's house.
We left for Ronald and Julie Martins on Saturday afternoon around 2:00. We got there around 7:00. We sent Sat. night with them and headed for home on Sunday. We had been planning to go to church with them Sun. morning and spend the afternoon visiting with them and some other friends and relatives in the area and then head for home on Monday. However, most of us had colds and were tired and grumpy so we just went home. To top it off the weather at home was gonna be rotten Sun. afternoon and worse Mon.
A windmill. One of ??? in a LARGE field of them. There had to be close to 400 of them if not more. Not sure exactly where this was. Probly in OH.
HOMEWARD BOUND!!!
We never woulda guessed that we would come home to snow...
