The snow of May 1-2, 2013
We had 18 inches.
I don't know of any branches that broke on our property. There were plenty of them other places.
Big branches to.
I tried to find the crocuses that were blooming... I gave up after deciding that I didn't like to have that cold of hands. And when the snow melted later I discovered that I was only a couple of inches away from them...
There were LOTS of people that were NOT happy about this snow... They weren't very happy about the however many before this to but this snow really made them unhappy. There were plenty of people that said that they couldn't even see anything beautiful about it. I feel sorry for them. Snow is beautiful no matter what time of year it comes. Of course, it is a lot easier to be thankful for it when it comes when we think that it should. Like in November-March. And some people think that it should never come at all.
Winter would be very drab and ugly if we didn't have snow.
