And catfish are UGLY creatures. Mom caught this one with a piece of hotdog. Personally the hotdog would have tasted better. The fish tasted like mud to me.
The fish was approx. 7 1/2 pounds. The dish we put it in is guilty of the rest.
Waiting for Granddad to come skin and fillet it.

i totally agree that catfish (and most fish) taste like mud. I would much rather have the hot dog too.
